A star chef

Chef Liz Polis offers her fab constantly changing menu, with all dishes created using locally sourced fresh ingredients. Her menus generally feature variations of chicken, beef, pork and lamb dishes, as well as game and venison when in season. She also produces some wonderful vegetarian meals and great homemade puddings too.

Liz has cheffed in many kitchens around Norwich and the Golden Star is delighted to have her skills in the kitchen and proud to shout about her great grub.

In the evening Liz prepares freshley cooked seasonal menus. Her menus change each week and the prices are extremely reasonable with main courses at only £8.

Our Sunday Roasts are the perfect wind down to the weekend. A great choice of meats and always a scrummy vegetarian option, all with yorkies to die for. At just £8 you won't leave here hungry after a healthy portion.
